Image Index > Banquet Scenes > 3 Age-Equal Courtship Pairs

Three age-equal pairs, with the staffs as the only distinguishing marks of the more self-confident wooers. The admired youth in the middle appears to hold a flower or tidbit in his hand, presumably a love gift. The youth on the far left walks away and makes a dismissive gesture with his right hand. The youth on the far right looks at another youth's hair and appears to tell him to brush something away.
