Image Index > Banquet Scenes > Men Are Bathed And Served By Boys

As on Side A, three men seated on banqueting couches are served by two naked boys. The boy on the left washes the man off with a sponge and strigil, as the man makes a kottabos throw. The man on the center couch reaches out to get the attention of the boy who holds a strigil and wears what looks like a helmet. The boy looks back at him and makes a counter-gesture with his right-hand. could this be another case of proposition and refusal, as in london-e49a?
