I felt I was the daughter of a foreigner in Iraq, I was a bit different to others. When I went to the States I was always the daughter of an Arab but when I came here (London) I was like any other foreigner because there are many foreigners here. I've been here for twelve years.

My name is Reem Yussef El Kelani. I'm Palestinian, my father comes from a village called Ya'abut near Jeneen and my mother comes from Nazareth in Galilee. I'm a musician and a singer but I also collect Palestinian folklore which is full of vitality. And I live in London, England in an area called Notting Hill Gate.

My name is Ousama Alani, I was born in Iraq in 1962. I lived in Iraq, moved to Lebanon and then to Bahrain because of my father - he works as an international banker. From Bahrain we moved to Canada, that's where I graduated. And then I moved to the United Kingdom to start my working life in banking. From banking I moved to the media with MBC (Middle East Broadcasting Company) and then for a short time I moved to Bahrian and then back to the UK and that's where I am now.
