Pictured are Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Gouverneur Morris, James Madison and Elbridge Gerry. Although they did not always see eye to eye, these men helped author the founding document of the United States which replaced the Articles of Confederation and has served as the supreme law of the land ever since.
