Each line represents respondents' ideology: Liberal, Moderate, Conservative, and Don't Know. Since 1980, the "Don't Know" respondents have been declining, while Liberals and Conservatives have been increasing since the mid-seventies. Moderates dropped in the seventies and have shown little change since 1980.
