This feature shows key differences between Criminal and Civil Trials. The first row is divided into two types of Trials: Criminal Trial and Civil Trial. The first column provides key subjects of difference: The Parties Involved; what is At Issue; the Type of Wrongdoing being adjudicated; the Penalty or Remedy; and finally the Burden of Proof. The second and third columns then provide the data for those categories for Criminal Trials, then for Civil Trials.
