Five Generations

Itai, his mother Yifa'at, his grandmother Carmela, his great grandmother Nazima and his great-great grandmother Simcha share their experiences in Iraq and Israel. Their stories reveal a generational gap in their views regarding cultural and familial life.

This video was produced in Israel for the Modern Hebrew Project, directed by Esther Raizen. The movie director was Yaron Shemer, and technical support was provided by Eric Eubank, Liberal Arts ITS, UT Austin.
The movies can be best viewed on machines with ethernet connection. In order for the clips to work properly, you must have the QuickTime Plug-In for your browser (free download).
