• 1/15/03: Prepare the first 13 verses of the Scroll of Esther; Answer the first 15 questions on the final.
• 1/22/03: Prepare all the way to 2:4; We will go over questions 11-15 of the final on Friday.
• 1/24/03: Prepare all the way to 2:14.
• 1/29/03: Prepare all the way to 3:10.
• 2/3/03: Finish chapter 3.
• 2/5/03: Prepare all the way to 4:4.
• 2/12/03: Finish chapter 4.
• 2/17/03: Prepare ten verses from chapter 5.
• 2/19/03: Finish chapter 5 for Monday.
• 2/24/03: Prepare 10 verses from chapter 6.
• 3/3/03: Prepare all the way to the end of chapter 7.
• 3/5/03: Prepare four verses of chapter 8.
• 3/17/03: Prepare all the way to the end of chapter 8; find all the verbs in verses 4 and 5, and analyze them for root, pattern, person, and aspect (you should have ten of them-- this is homework to be submitted in writing)
• 4/2/03: Prepare all the way to verse tet of pirkey avot alef; find and turn in information about the Talmud. Make sure to include references to the Mishna and the Gmara.
• 4/9/03: Prepare all the way to the end of chapter 1 of Avot. Translate one verse (turn in!). Provide a short write-up on Pirkey Avot.
• 4/13/03: Prepare alef-vav of chapter bet (for Wednesday, 4/23). Translate one section.
• 4/25/03: Prepare medieval poems: Lament, Complaint, War
• 4/28/03: Prepare H.N. Bialik's "Bitshuvati."
