The interviews were produced in Israel by Dani Moralle, GMTV Israel, in the fall of 1999, as part of the Modern Hebrew Project. They were edited by Yaron Shemer, with technical assistance from Christopher T. Blandy, ACITS. The interviews are presented in segments for the sake of fast downloading. While designed for use in Hebrew language classes as supplementary materials for listening comprehension and conversation practice, they can provide research data for students and scholars of linguistics and sociolinguistics. The movies can be best viewed on machines with ethernet connection. In order for the video clips to work properly, you must have the QuickTime Plug-In for your browser. Note: Because of our emphasis on the liestening comprehension skill, we do not provide parallel transcription or captioning.
