This page links to flashcards corresponding to the vocabulary in the book "Modern Hebrew for
Beginners."
The newly designed flashcards include a list of words on the left,
and a frame for the meaning on the right. The word is sounded when the meaning window opens.
In the course of the summer of 2002, a feature will added which will allow a display of a sentence
with the word in context upon clicking on the word in the "meaning" window.
This set is designed to work with newer browsers and operating systems, and will be maintained in
parallel to the old flashcards. Users of the old set are encouraged to try this version, which works with most of the
browsers that are currently in use.
Click on "עברית" to start in Hebrew , and on "English" to start in English. If the word "עברית" shows properly here, the
flashcards should work well for you.
