Sublime general patriota guerillero,
que pelio con gran lealtad por defender su patrio suelo;

I’m a Zapatista from Morelos,
I have proclaimed the Plan de Ayala and San Jose,
if they don’t fulfill the promises to the town,
we will do it with our guns.

so that the town doesn’t get upset,
nor try to with cruel energy,
if we are sons, we shouldn’t be scared of the country,
we will have peace and liberty.

Sublime general, patriotic fighter,
who with the great loyalty fought for his beloved country;
who waited for triumph to be the great One,
so that all could live in peace in Morelos.
