While visiting the Jiading Experimental Primary School in Shanghai our tour began with the school's trophy room. The trophy room was massive and filled with awards, the fact that such attention was given to this room is a good example of nonverbal communication as the administration was clearly very proud of the school's success.
Many of the business we visited reiterated the importance of maintaining a "grand" image and many of the office buildings, factories and this school supported this theme.
