Description

This is a photo of all the lights and cameras on a pole next to the entrance to the Forbidden City and right next to Tiananmen Square. Authority definitely plays a huge role in China, and we saw security cameras in elevators, intersections, hotels, offices...everywhere.

I also saw several cameras on important buildings, such as the Bank of China office that we visited. Security is obviously a huge concern, especially around Tiananmen and the government buildings.
