This is a picture taken from a cab in Beijing. When taking cabs in China, it was very important to have your address written down in Chinese characters. Communication in English to taxi drivers was not common AT ALL and if the driver did not know where he was going…good luck. We were dropped off in a dark alley by one cabbie when he got lost and we were yelled out of the cab. Ended up going back to our home hotel to get directions to our destination again in a new cab.
