The Chinese soldiers seen here were at the front gates of the Forbidden City in Beijing. In China, Beijing especially, you get a sense of the authoritarian role of the Chinese government, and in particular it is exemplified by the very structured, regimented, and almost robot-like demeanor of the soldiers that you can see all around the city.
