Great pic!  We went to a Buddhist temple in Hong Kong, and it got me thinking about what part religion plays in Chinese society.  We didn't hear much about it from the Chinese people we met with, but often religion is a powerful social force that you don't immediately see.  On the other hand, imagine a similar tour of Europe and think about all the grand churches and cathedrals you can see.  Even if religion has been a powerful social force, it does not seem to dominate the landscape or the daily activities the way it does in other places.
