Description

Details are an important part of the French love of grandeur. Attention to detail can be seen everywhere around the country, even in the most unexpected places. The above image is a door into Notre Dame where the intricacy is obvious. Even in the hundreds of years it took to build the cathedral, the workers refused to cut corners with anything. They still spent an endless amount of time working on the small details, like the doors! This is a prime example of how the French pay less attention to time, but place more value on what they accomplish with their time.
