Description

This photograph depicts parking that is typical in Lyon. In the United States, one must park in designated parking spots. The same is not true in Lyon, where people park in the most convenient spots. Drivers will even park on sidewalks, as depicted above. Parking tickets and ticket maids are not as plentiful as in the United States. Some parkers disregard the laws for parking simply because parking laws are not heavily enforced. The benefit outweighs the unlikely consequence.
