Description

This picture illustrates a common method in European advertising, specifically France, used to promote certain products in stores. Typically, European stores have smaller aisles and in general, less space to work with for advertisements and sales promotions. These floor advertisements are an efficient way to conserve space and also in getting a message across to the customer. It is creative minds like these who come up with things like "floor advertisements" that make advertising agencies in the United States capable of surviving international marketing. Not only does the copy and visual aid of the ad have to be considered thoroughly but as well as where and how the AD will be placed once created. This ad serves as a reminder that even a great ad will be useless if its placement is not considered from a cultural standpoint.
