In comparison to the United States it is relatively rare to see safety or warning signs in France. This one appeared at a newer crosswalk along the Seine where one can press a button to signal a green walking sign. The plain plaque has been gifted a new look in the French style. It seems to me that some of the French have a sense of humor about their own culture.
