In this photo we see the police on the move to catch a few vendors who had been illegally selling souvenirs outside the palace of Versailles. These vendors were also found near other tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. With the high level of petty theft seen within Paris, it seemed surprising that the police focused their attention on this small group of men rather than trying to prevent pickpocketing at one of the world's biggest tourist destinations.
