These green containers are used for recycling different types of glass bottles, jars and cans. Found on many street corners in French cities, these are setup to reduce littering and promote easy access to recycling. In regards to recycling other products and disposing of landfill waste, there are small waste receptacles with color coated bags that are found on street sidewalks.
