Description

La Musée du quai Branly flaunts one of the largest green walls (un Mur Vegetal) in Europe, as shown above. Although other green walls throughout France may not be as big, it is difficult to walk for too long without noticing an apartment complex or commercial building also with some sort of greenery on its facade. The concept of integrating nature into architecture so that the two can exist in harmony with one another exemplifies France's strong ties to the environment and sustainability.
