In Lyon, many homes do not have air conditioning despite having fairly warm summers. Instead, the French just open their windows. In my host family's home, there is no A/C and my host mother said it's because electricity is much more expensive here. This image corresponds to the environment category because the lack of air conditioning not only saves money, but also is better for the environment in terms of pollution.
