Description

The photo exemplifies the relationship the French have with their pets and how it is seemingly emphasized in French society that pets are another member of society. The accommodation of dogs in particular throughout the country is unlike any other country I have visited. Not only are dogs allowed to use the restroom (both number 1 + number 2, which can be a bit of a disaster for pedestrians from time to time) in public streets without a problem, but dogs are (usually) also allowed inside cafes, hotels, and restaurants as long as they are with their owners. In this particular case, the cafe was too small to allow for a dog inside, yet the dog was still accommodated outside. It is no surprise that France is one of the most pet-friendly countries in the world.
