Observation
The future subjunctive of the regular verbs looks just like the personalized infintive. The root for the irregular verbs is obtained by starting with the 3rd person plural endings of the preterite, e.g., puderam > puder, quiseram > quiser, deram > der, etc.
The easiest way to learn the future subjunctive is to start with the contrary-to-fact patterns that are similar to Spanish as follows:
I would sing if I had talent. - Eu cantaria se eu tivesse talento.
I would die if she saw me. - Eu morreria se ela me visse.
If he studied, I would help. - Se ele estudasse, eu ajudaria.
If she went, I would go too. - Se ela fosse, eu iria também.
By changing the conditional "would" to the future "will" we also need to change the imperfect subjunctive to the future subjunctive:
I will sing if I have talent. - Eu cantarei se eu tiver talento.
I will die if she sees me. - Eu morrerei se ela me vir.
If he studies, I will help. - Se ele estudar, eu ajudarei.
If she goes, I will go too. - Se ela for, eu vou também.
Using this pattern as a starting point (will X if Y), we may also substitute other conjunctions for "if":
Se (if) ele estudar, eu ajudarei.
Quando (when) ele estudar, eu ajudarei.
Logo que (as soon as) ele estudar, eu ajudarei.
Assim que (as soon as) ele estudar, eu ajudarei.
Depois que (after) ele estudar, eu ajudarei.
Enquanto (while) ele estudar, eu ajudarei.
