El clima en el norte de México en general es muy caluroso en verano. En invierno es muy frío. Se dice entonces que el clima es extremoso. En la parte central de México, precisamente debido a su altitud, el clima es fresco en verano. La ciudad de México alcanza temperaturas máximas de 30 grados centígrados, a lo mucho. Y en invierno es un invierno muy tranquilo, a lo mucho llega 2, 3 grados sobre cero, pero eso es solo en las madrugadas. Se puede decir que la ciudad de México tiene un clima muy muy agradable. En el sudeste y sur de México, el clima es caluroso todo el año. Obviamente en invierno es menos caluroso. Pero no existen las estaciones, es decir no hay primavera, verano, otoño e invierno. Es solo época de lluvias y época de secas.
