Walk-In Technology Help For Faculty In The College Of Liberal Arts

The Development Lab in Mezes 2.116 exists to assist faculty in the College of Liberal Arts with digital technology. The Lab employs talented Student Technology Assistants (STAs), supervised by professional staff, who can provide a wide range of IT help for faculty.

STAs assist faculty with common academic technology needs, including:
    Creation of faculty websites
    Existing website redesign &/or updating
    Creation of classroom presentations
    Digitization of audio &/or video
Tutorials on the use of common software
STAs working in the Development Lab will take your requests, & the STA Project Supervisor will contact you with information about an STA & the probable time it will take to complete your request. You can also call Liberal Arts ITS during business hours at 471-7095 if you have questions.

The Development Lab was established to help faculty with small scale projects and to help them find the tools that fit their needs. For large scale projects, faculty are encouraged to apply for a Liberal Arts Instructional Technology Grant. For more information, see the funding page.
