• Continued illustrating the Cathedral.

• Started illustrating the churches for the RS banner. First up: Holy Virgin Cathedral.

10th December 2008

• FINISHED illustrating the train. Imported it into Photoshop and added effects and voila!

Full banner with all illustrated images (pyramid and mountains are Mai-Thi's illustrations).

• Talked with Suloni about starting another project. Assigned to illustrate churches for the Religious Studies banner.

• Geoff brought to my attention some corrections needed for MedEthics.

  Corrected some menus for DVD Studio Pro (was actually missing one for Pellegrino/Connerly)

  Checked over all the inserts/labels against the MedEthics poster (stole it from Daniel for half an hour. No worries, it was returned safely.)

• Continued illustrating the flags for the CES banner. Gradients...fun times.

• Continued illustrating the CES banner. Got tired of working on the soccer player, started illustrating the flags.

  Created a simply menu for the DVD.

  Burned the DVD. Amie came to pick it up later that evening.

  Emailed Emily about possibly using iTunes to digitize audio and bypass using FCP, as Fazal has never used the software before.

• Continued illustrating the CES banner. I've finished the background and most of the soccer ball. I'm now illustrating the Soccer players' legs.

• Portuguese Shoot for Kelm's classes
• Began prepping the CES banner for illustration (cropped photos, etc.)
• Met with Gerry about taking excerpts from an interview. We decided to extract audio only.
• Began illustrating CES banner (beginning with soccer picture). Here's what I've done so far:

30th September 2008

• Did an FCP tutorial with Lama for the ASWAAT project (taught her how to log/capture, basic editing)
• Suloni assigned me the European Studies banner to illustrate.

29th September 2008

• Created two handouts for the ASWAAT video people. Made one about importing audio from a CD into Final Cut Pro and one about logging/capturing from a DVD in FCP. OBSERVE!

  NOTE: I realized there are more steps to doing these things than I thought. :-/

24th September 2008

• Finished a second design (with various colour schemes) for FRIT

• Finished the first design for the French/Italian banner using the department's concept

• Discovered this super cool website that you can find colour schemes on: http://kuler.adobe.com
• Video shoot for Kelm's Portuguese classes. Futebol!

• Finished and exported videos for chapters 8-9.

22nd September 2008

• Suloni assigned me to work on a banner for the French and Italian department.

  Searched for different images, started on one design for the banner.

• Exported all videos through chapter 7

  Emailed Nathalie about progress, waiting for chapters 8-10

• Talked to Daniel/Carrie about Wendy Wilkinson. She was scheduled for the lecture, but couldn't make it.

  Updated menu/label/insert to reflect said change.

18th September 2008

• Emailed the finished MedEthics menus to Geoff.

  Need to get updated list of Lecture Series (missing Wilkinson photo?)

• Nathalie emailed new settings

  Applied settings to all sequences, exported them

  Finished creating sequences for chapters 6-7

  Waiting for chapters 8-10

• Portuguese shoot in the morning.
• Still working with codecs and trying to view them in AMP. Still no luck

  Continued adding titles to video files (regardless of codec issues, they're all done).
