Arabic

1. Which of the following translations match the above Arabic text?
  (a) My normal working day starts from getting up in the morning because of the time difference with the Middle East who I have to contact because of work and projects I'm working on. The main thing I do first is follow up international calls and use the internet to check email. Also I read about what's happening in the Middle East to see if there's anything worth following up. Next I start helping the family get ready and then I go into the place where I work.
  (b) Incorrect.
  (c) It was always a known fact that I would end up working in the textile field because we, as a family, have been in it for six generations. Having said that, let's say for any reason if I hadn't joined the family business, I would probably have ended up working in the chemical field. And I remember at university my first year I studied chemical engineering and I later decided to change over to international business administration because that was deemed to be more useful for my future role.
  (d) I'm a freelance legal interpreter. My services are required by police courts. A typical situation would be an interview room at a police station. There are four people present: the interviewing police officer, the suspect, his or her solicitor and me as the interpreter. What I like about this job is the responsibility placed upon me. And I also learn a lot about the English judicial system and the mentality of the police officers and I also like the fees paid to interpreters. But this job has its ups and downs. Some of the pressures the interpreter is subjected to are to lend assistance to detainees from the detainee himself, asking you to do him favors. Added to that it is sometimes difficult for the interpreter to keep calm due to interruptions, either from the police officer who is interviewing the suspect or vice versa.
