Los Pinguinos del Norte
Los Pinguinos del Norte are a three piece group from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, which is in Northern Mexico. The group has been producing music together for decades, with "El Pinguino Mayor", Ruben Castillo Juarez, playing music for over fifty years. The group is known for their vast knowlegde in the area of corridos, especially those of hailing from Northern Mexico. The group currently has several albums of songs produced by Arhoolie Records (www.arhoolie.com)in El Cerrito, California.
