My name is Georgina Ortega de Belden, my position here or the job that I do, I am in charge of the training area of the financial group. I have been with the company for about seven years, the first five years I worked in promotion. As a promotion agent or as an account executive the responsibility that one has is to attract clients to the brokerage firm and to be an intermediary between the investing public and the brokerage firm, right? to gather the resources and in turn use them in the investment that the client would like. Then I had my child who is now two and a half years old, I left work for ten months and they asked me come back to work part time to help them in the area of training. This area did not exist previously. In 1992 ABACO Casa de Bola acquired Banca Confía and ABACO saw that it was necessary to work with the bank. And they were integrated, that is to say ABACO Financial Group was created. So I began to help out in what is ABACO, Casa de Bolsa, but it was also necessary to enter into what is Confía as well. And now I spend about 90% of my time with Confía because it is a much bigger company, right? And so I oversee what is the training for the whole group. The group is made up of ABACO, Casa de Bolsa, Confía S.A., ABA-Divisas Casa de Cambio, ABA-Factor, this is a factoring company, ABA-Arenda, that is a financial leaser, ABA-ASIS, that is a company that provides computer support to all of the branches, ABACO Corporativo, which is here in ABACO Corporativo where one finds everyone that provides service to the other members of the group. And also there is ABA-Seguros that is the insurance company of the group. So these eight companies make up the ABACO Financial Group.

What I do in my job is that every 15 days the people who come to work with us are given an introductory course. We introduce them to how the group is organized, what each branch does, a little bit about its history, we show them a video called "This is ABACO" and we show them another one that is called "If it weren't for the clients" that deals with serving the clients, waiting on clients, and we give them a tour of the facilities. We also have a code of ethics in which we have three very important principles here at the group which are: focus on the market, respect for others and aim for excellence. We explain all this so that later, given that everyone is going to be placed in the their own work area, they will have an idea about what each branch does and a little about our philosophy. I am also in charge of developing a course for account executives in Confía on a national level. We have a training center that we call "The Refuge" near the Cola de Caballo, about 45 minutes from here from Monterrey. And there we have three training rooms, where we have space to house about 70 people, 70, 80 people. We have a soccer field and a swimming pool and a pavilion, and a dinning room. So there we gather the people together and give them three weeks of training. I am also in charge of scholarships, classes, master's programs, everything that involves training, right?

The part of work that I like most is dealing with people because ever since I came to this institution I have worked in the promotions area, because I have always been in contact with the people. And the most difficult part of my work, well frequently there are a lot of details in organizing a class, you depend on a lot of people and some times they make changes on you or people can't come or there are unforeseen problems and you have to deal with all these types of situations. And the training that I received, well the truth is that there wasn't much because I was the one who had to create this department. But, I am in charge of providing training for those that come here, right? And my experience with Americans, well mine has been very limited, I haven't had much experience with Americans. Thanks and this is Georgina Ortega at your service.
