Well, the story that I remember of the original Little Red Riding Hood goes as follows: the Bad Wolf was on the sidewalk and happened upon Little Red Riding Hood. Then, suddenly, the Bad Wolf approached Little Red Riding Hood to find out where she was heading or where she was going or what she was going to do, to find out if he could possibly eat something from her basket, because the basket was giving off a scent... an odor of tasty food, and the wolf was very hungry. So, Little Red Riding Hood told the wolf that she was on her way to her grandmother's house. On the walk the wolf decided to get there before her, to get to her grandmother's house, because Little Red Riding Hood told him how to get there. Thus, the wolf decided to go there too, enter the house of Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother and end up... how I can say this... killing her, assassinating her. The original version of... I think that it was the Germans or the Europeans, the blood of the grandmother is transformed... and stored inside a bottle of wine and she was cut into pieces like it was common butcher's meat. And so Little Red Riding Hood... and the Bad Wolf, in this instant, pretends to be... pretends... he fits inside of the grandmother. Little Red Riding Hood enters the house, sees the bad wolf, thinks that he is her grandmother and asks: "Goodness grandmother, you have changed." Grandmother: "It's true... it's the time that has passed." So, Little Red Riding Hood began to ask: "What big eyes you have!", "What big ears you have!" in reference to things that had suddenly changed and that seemed odd. Well, the grandmother asked her to bring her the bottle of wine (which, in truth was the blood of her grandmother) and the pieces of meat (which in truth were pieces of the grandmother) to eat them up. Well, while consuming the flesh and blood of the grandmother, the bad wolf ends up inviting Little Red Riding Hood to come to the bed and take advantage of her. Thus, the truth is... this version of Little Red Riding Hood is a version for... in this era there was an original version that was designed for the general public, so this version wasn't so flowery for the bourgeoisie. So this version was more violent, and had an evident message which was: "Be wary of strangers on the street!"

Bom, a história que eu lembro da Chapeuzinho Vermelho original é que o Lobo Mau ele tá numa estrada e encontra a Chapeuzinho Vermelho. E, de repente, o Lobo Mau se aproxima da Chapeuzinho Vermelho pra saber aonde que ela tá indo, né? ou aonde que ela vai e o que é que ela vai fazer de repente pra saber se ele poderia comer alguma coisa da cesta, porque a cesta exalava um cheiro... um perfume de comida muito gostoso e o lobo tava com muita fome. Então a Chapeuzinho Vermelho diz ao lobo que ela tá indo pra casa da vovó dela, né? a vó dela. E no caminho o lobo resolve se antecipar, chega à casa da vó dela – porque a Chapeuzinho contou o caminho, né? – então o lobo resolve chegar lá, eh, entra na casa da avó da Chapeuzinho Vermelho e termina por... eh, como se diz? matá-la, assassiná-la. Na versão original dos... eu acho que são os alemães ou europeus, o sangue da vovó é transformado... é colocado dentro de uma garrafa de vinho e a carne é feita em pedaços como se fosse uma carne normal de açougue. E a Chapeuzinho Vermelho então... e o Lobo Mau, né? nesse instante também se finge de ser... finge... se coloca no lugar da vovozinha, né? A Chapeuzinho Vermelho entra na casa, vê o Lobo Mau, acha que é a vovó e pergunta: "Nossa vovó, você mudou, né?". Ela: "É... é o tempo, né?". Chapeuzinho Vermelho então começa a questionar: "Que olhos grandes!", "Que orelha grande!", né? algumas coisas que mudaram de repente e que lhe pareceram estranhas. Bom, a vovozinha então fala pra ela levar a garrafa de vinho – que, na verdade, é o sangue da vovó – e os pedaços de carne – que, na verdade, são os pedaços da vovó – pra consumi-los num instante. E, bom, consumido a carne e o sangue da vovó, o Lobo Mau acaba por convidar a Chapeuzinho Vermelho pra ir pra cama e aliciá-la. Então, na verdade era... essa versão de Chapeuzinho Vermelho é uma versão pra... na época era uma versão original pros plebleus, então ela não era tão enfeitada pra burguesia. Então ela era mais violenta e tinha uma mensagem evidente que era: "Cuidado com os estranhos na rua!"
