Bueno soy estudiante aquí en la Universidad de Texas en Austin, en el programa de Español y Portugués. Estudiante de doctorado y acabo de comenzar, estamos hablando a principio del año dos mil cuatro. Acabo de comenzar en el programa. Y antes he hecho muchas cosas, todas vinculadas con las artes visuales, ¿no?, con las artes plásticas. He hecho mi obra como artista durante unos cuantos años; pintura, escultura, dibujo, ilustraciones para libros, libros para niños. Y también tengo una formación como historiador del arte y entonces he escrito también crítica de arte, ensayos para libros, catálogos. Y también he sido profesor en algunas escuelas, universidades, escuelas de arte. Así que eso es lo que he hecho.

Well, I am a student here at the University of Texas at Austin in the Spanish and Portuguese program. I'm a doctoral student and I've just started, we're talking here at the beginning of 2004.
