This sign was posted in the stairwell at Jiading Primary School. It is a good example of high context culture. While we would just say "no pushing," they explain why, because it will keep everyone in a good mood!



I also thought this sign was interesting, not only because it shows the prevalence of the English Language in China, but also emphasizes China's high-context culture. It also underlines how disciplined the school kept the children and how they should not push for the greater good of keeping everyone in a good mood.
