This "no spitting" sign was in the Dirt Market in Beijing. I thought the picture was funny but it seemed to communicate that people should not disrespect the public areas. Although the point was clear, not many people seemed to follow the signs instructions.
After experiencing how bad the pollution was I completely understand why people spit all of the time! Beijing was pretty polluted, but the city that I thought had the highest pollution was Xi'an, and I saw a lot of spitting there!
