This paper discusses migration as a
concept that is not novel but ancient. Different instances of migration
across the globe are also highlighted. The study further traces the
origin of the America Visa Lottery and states the objectives of the
host country. It also identifies the implication of migration on the
host society and its effects on the country of origin. The study then
identifies and explains different factors responsible for Nigerians
clamoring for America Visa Lottery. Based on these findings, the paper
concludes with specific recommendations to Nigerian citizenry, Nigerian
Government and the World at large.
